The boxer of Vulcan Youth Sports School Mishiko Besseliya confirmed the title of  Iron Fist and gained the third victory in the professional boxing

Mishiko Besseliya the boxer from Cherkassy region defended his winner’s title once again. Mishiko fighted with the boxer from Kharkov Alexei Kozlov. The fight took place on July 6 in Kiev at boxing event organized by K2 Rromotions. After four rounds of great boxing judges unanimously voted in favor of Mishiko 40:36.

Let’s take into consideration the fact that Mishiko Besseliya is the only boxer who represents Cherkassy region in the professional boxing.

Kickboxer of Vulcan Youth Sports School won the World Cup

Sportsman of Vulcan Youth Sports School Ivan Tkachenko won the gold medal of the Kickboxing World Cup (29 May - 02 June 2013) in  Rimini, Italy. Besides, other athletes from Cherkassy won three bronze prizes.

Once again, kickboxers from Cherkassy conquered the world ring. At this time the athletes have received four awards at the championship in Italy. Ukrainian national team was represented by 23 athletes, among which four sportsmen from Cherkassy were. Our champions, Ivan Tkachenko (the kickboxer of Vulcan Sports School), Igor Prikhodko, Artem Savenko (the kickboxer of Vulcan Sports School), Andrew Tyutyunnik returned home with awards.

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has become the President of the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA)
May 28 in St. Petersburg within an international convention SportAccord the General Assembly of the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA) was hold, in which was unanimously elected the new president of the IMSA. FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov became the head of the Association. Among the first who sincerely congratulated Kirsan Nikolayevich, was an advisor of FIDE President Oleg Savchuk.

In his first speech as the president of the IMSA Kirsan Ilyumzhinov expressed his gratitude to all the members of the Association for trust and shared his plans concerning the further development of the IMSA.

In 2005 the IMSA was founded by four federations developing intellectual sports: International Chess Federation, the World Bridge Federation, the International Draughts Federation and the International Go Federation (total number of professionals - more than 500 million people), a member of the IMSA, without the right to vote is the World Xiangqi Federation (Chinese chess).

Mishiko Besseliya has scored a victory in professional boxing twice 
Group of companies Virtual Intellectual Products supports the development of sport and gives each person an opportunity to become a successful athlete and explore potential. Mishiko Besseliya, a boxer of Vulcan Sports School, scored his second victory in the professional ring.

In Kharkov the evening of boxing was hold. The main event was Sergei Mabuza vs Karim El Uazgari  fight. In one of the battles Mishiko Besseliya fought with Artem Skornyakov.

On the 19-th of March in Vienna, Volodymyr Kolomiiets and Alexander Snitko had a meeting with Bartlomiej Czapkiewicz Managing Director of Novomatic. At the meeting they considered the issue of cooperation in the implementation of socially significant Collective chess Project.

Other gaming aspects of the company were introduced as well. Bartlomiej Czapkiewicz gave a high assessment to the Project and supported social programs designed by the group of companies Virtual Intellectual Products.

Mishiko Besseliya had  a successful debut in the professional boxing. In the first fight Mishiko knocked down Oleg Korobkov

The 16th of March became a significant day for boxing at Cherkassy. The boxer of Vulcan Youth Sports School had a professional boxing fight for the first time. His opponent’s name was Oleg Korobkov who held the third fight in the professional boxing. The weight category of the fight was 63,5 kg.

Despite the fact that Besseliya’s opponent was an experienced boxer, Mishiko held a confident fight. At the beginning the fight was waged by Oleg Korobko but Mishiko Besseliya quickly turned the tide of the fight in his favor. At the end of the second round Mishiko knocked down his opponent. Finally Besseliya won the fight on points.

In the conference hall of the Savoy Hotel FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov opened the World Candidates Tournament 2013. The opening ceremony was attended by the FIDE President’s advisors and partners on the Geosocial Games Project - Oleg Savchuk, Volodymyr Kolomiiets and Alexander Snitko.

In the evening Kirsan Ilyumzhinov mentioned about  rich chess traditions in London. In the 19th century such masters as William Steinitz, Emanuel Lasker, Howard Staunton gained success in chess. "Next three weeks London will become the main world chess center and the upcoming tournament will be the most anticipated and the leading event of the year" – Ilyumzhinov said.
