The Geo-Social Games Project was officially presented to the public

In the conference hall of the Premier Palace Hotel a press conference was held by the creators of the newest product in the world market of the entertainment industry - "Geo-social Games". The variety of Geo-Social Games is practically unlimited: intellectual games (chess, checkers, bridge, poker, Go), dynamic games (football, hockey, boxing), computer games, etc. Ukrainian experts are the first people who have developed and patented a unique technology in the field of virtual gaming.

A breakthrough in the gaming industry

In recent years the entertainment industry went through the crisis. What could be said has been said, what could be written has been already written. But it seems more likely the crisis of puberty, after which the stage of growth and maturation come. And this "growing up" has occurred in spirit of our time.

Modern information technologies have started the all-encompassing process of globalization. That’s why in traditional forms of human activities such as business, science, art and in our case in the sphere of games reaching success requires an effective and enthusiastic consciousness both public and individual. Without the appliance of appropriate technologies it’s impossible to have a firm position at the level you have reached already, and it’s not even worth to mention about the next level.

In the field of games a revolutionary breakthrough has been made by the authors and developers of the Geo-Social Games Project - President of the International Chess Federation Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, World Boxing Champion Vitali Klitschko, general director of promotional company of Klitschko brothers “K2 Promotions” Krasyuk Alexander, president of the Uktainian Draughts Federation Anatoly Yatsenko, Oleg Savchuk and Vladimir Kolomiets. They offered the public a completely new product in the world gaming market.

In the development of the project, for authors the ability of self-realization for people who are a priori comes first as those people need to communicate with each other and feel that they are needed in the society and of course in the team. Realizing the idea the developers have given the opportunity to thousands and millions of people to participate in games that are traditionally played by two people, applying the principle that allows players with their individual move to influence the formation of  so-called "collective move" which is the move of the majority of participants in the game.

Conventionally authors divide Geo-social games into several kinds. The main ones are intellectual (chess, checkers, etc.), dynamic virtual (football, tennis, boxing, etc), exchange, or "correct" (from two meanings ​​of the English word “correct” which means right and edit. The latter goes for to influence the outcome) and many others.

Project developers have been the first who managed to combine intellectual and economic components based on principles of prize distribution. This is not a lottery, where the payoff depends on chance. Strategy, mathematical calculation, psychology, and other individual abilities make the basis of Geo-Social Games, in which the most skillful person wins, not the luckiest. Games develop analytical, logical, mathematical, and psychological abilities of the person, train the memory, reaction, recover intuition and intelligence, that is a social phenomenon.

Geo-Social Games Project is an unprecedented project the aim of which is to unite people of different religions, races and nationalities, all age groups and different social strata. The unique symbiosis of physical and intellectual abilities can change the social image of the planet. I am very pleased that the project is implemented by a great sportman of our time Vitali Klitschko with the help of Ukrainian specialists’ development. I am confident that this project will be the hallmark of all intelligent people all around the world "- Kirsan Ilyumzhinov said.

Such games as "Collective Chess," "Champion Status", "Virtual Boxing", "Social Quest", "Minimax", etc are ready to be launched. But in the authors’ opinion the leading games will be intellectual in the project.

"Such qualities as to think one step ahead and develop logic and thinking are important not only for boxers or chess players, they will be useful for every person. Our company «K2 Promotions» supports this project because it can be a completely new global strategy for an orientation of the youth to a healthy way of life, regardless of place of residence and income. In addition, the portion of the prize will be donated for scholarships of talented grandmasters, promising young sportmen, organization and conducting of tournaments. This is one of the most important social missions of the project, which we encourage, "- Alexander Krasyuk said.

In any society the elite consists of members involved in the formation of social consciousness one way or another. Authors and developers of the Geo-Social Games Project are social programmers who give an equal opportunity for different social groups, cultivate the philosophy of success creating spiritually healthy and competitive personality, providing conditions for the reveal and development of the individual characteristics of each person. This social component is the hallmark of the project.

Authors of the project believe that Geo-Social Games with its innovation and large scale will attract a great interest of hundreds of millions people involved in an interactive space, and in a year and a half or two years developers are supposed to have about 500 million active audience of Geo-Social Games.

With the coming of Geo-Social Games life of potential participants have a chance to become brighter, more amazing and interesting due to the appearance of really exciting games which are an eternal companion of any person supplying  with  an enormous source of adrenalin - the passion.

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov told in 2001 they made an attempt to create a similar project. The idea was that representatives of different continents took part in competitions. But then, there was no technical capability. Nowadays there is technical capability to launch the project.

It should be mentioned, the implementation of such projects will be available in coming future.  On December 22-23, 2011 in the virtual space of Ukraine a unique chess match consisting of two parties was held. Members of teams of higher education institutions at Cherkassy and Rovno demonstrated their abilities.

One team presented the National University "Ostrog Academy" at Rovno, another team represented the State Technological University at Cherkassy and the Academy of Fire Safety named after heroes of Chernobyl.

Participants signed up on an official website www.vipchess.com.ua, chose a team and made their individual moves on-line. Special software-hardware complex summed up their individual moves forming the collective move of the team and displayed it on a chessboard. Participants of two teams competed with the help of collective mind.

In an experimental game 102 players took part. The first game ended on the 27th move as the team from Rovno won. In the second game after 68-th move fortune beamed upon players from Cherkassy. The game ended in a draw.

Some curious thing was found out during the game. After processing moves of teams it was cleared up that during the first game more than 20 moves of the team from Rovno coincided with the moves of well-known chess software “Rybka”. During a virtual match someone decided to test computer intellect against the collective wisdom of people. But on the next day, the moves of the same computer program were recorded again, that time it was used by the team from Cherkassy! In both cases the fraud surfaced. However, tournament organizers  decided not to replay the game, considering that the game was experimental.
