In London ICE Totally Gaming 2013 was held in February 5-7. It is the most significant event in the field of entertainment which aims to attract professionals specialized in the sphere of entertainment and gambling. Representatives of more than 120 countries come to participate in the exhibition annually.

Theme parks demonstrated a wide range of new products in the field of casinos, lotteries, betting, bingo, as well as online, social and mobile games. Slot machines and payment systems took a large segment of the exhibition. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, Oleg Savchuk, Volodymyr Kolomiiets and Alexander Snitko visited the event.

During the exhibition among the meetings held by Project Managers of Geosocial Games two main ones should be pointed out. The first one was the meeting with DI Ryszard Presch, vice president of Novomatic, where they discussed the perspectives of joint implementation of Geosocial Games Project. The definite actions were outlined to address the issue.

January 30, 2013 in Kiev FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov had a meeting with the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. The Presidents discussed the development of chess in Ukraine.

Awards ceremony was held to congratulate Ukrainian champion Anna Ushenina on her victory in the World Chess Championship among women in 2012. The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the State Service of Youth and Sports Ravil Safiullin. Viktor Yanukovych awarded her with the Order of Princess Olga of the II degree.

Children's tournament devoted to Saint Nicholas Day was organized by the Ukrainian Chess Party

On December 15-16 once again regional children's chess tournament “St. Nicholas at every home” was held at school № 18 in Rovno. Children were divided in 3 age categories (1995-1998, 1999-2003, 2004 years and younger). 132 young players competed from Bereznovskiy, Dubensky, Kostopil, Ostrog, Rovno regions and cities - Rovno, Kuznetsovsk and an urban village - Klesov. At the end of the competition the winners were awarded with diplomas, medals and gifts. In addition, every player received a gift for Saint Nicholas Day.

In Vienne a meeting was held between the representatives of GreenTube I.E.S. GmbH – a Project manager R&D Moritz Grunwald, a Head of Marketing and Sales Tom Autischer, a Project manager of Geo-Social Games Volodymyr Kolomiiets and CEO of VIP Andre-Pier Buzdum. They discussed the technical issues of cooperation in further joint implementation of the Project.

Sportsmen of Vulcan Sports School won bronze prizes in the European Championships

In the Romanian capital Bucharest the European Championships in kickboxing was hold. Two sportsmen of Vulcan Sports School represented the Ukrainian national team in the championship.

David Agahanov took the third place in the weight category up to 67 kg, Ivan Tkachenko won the bronze medal in the weight category up to 91 kg +. Sportsmen from 35 countries took part in the European Championship.

FIDE has informed about the foundation of $ 5 billion investment fund by Kirsan Ilyumzhinov

On Friday in Moscow the first president of Kalmykia, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has signed a memorandum on the creation of $ 5 billion investment fund in Russia and the CIS with the leading partner of Gaonen Chinese Investment Fund Mr Ping.

«The leading partners will be Gaonen, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov (as a private person) and a number of large companies, including Russian ones», - Ria News informed quoting the representative of FIDE office in Elista.  The main aim of the fund will be the implementation and promotion of investment projects in Russia and the CIS countries.
