January 30, 2013 in Kiev FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov had a meeting with the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. The Presidents discussed the development of chess in Ukraine.

Awards ceremony was held to congratulate Ukrainian champion Anna Ushenina on her victory in the World Chess Championship among women in 2012. The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the State Service of Youth and Sports Ravil Safiullin. Viktor Yanukovych awarded her with the Order of Princess Olga of the II degree.

After visiting the residence of the President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov had a meeting with his advisers and partners Oleg Savchuk and Volodymyr Kolomiiets. They approved a plan for further development of Geosocial Games Project.

Also, due to the fact that Kirsan Ilyumzhinov was unanimously nominated for the presidency in IMSA, the issues were discussed concerning the inclusion of other intellectual games and poker in the Geosocial Games Project. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov authorize the manager of Geosocial Games Project Volodymyr Kolomiiets to work out the concept of recognition of poker as intellectual kind of sports.
